Table Mountain & Robben Island Tour

Every visitor to Cape Town has Table Mountain & Robben Island on their list of not to be missed attractions.  Our day starts with riding the cablecar up the mountain and spending the morning exploring on top of Table Mountain itself, before lunch and a trip to Robben Island for the afternoon.

With this day tour we head straight for the Table Mountain cableway and ascend to the top of this world famous Wonder of the Natural World.

We take a full 360-degree guided walk around the top of the mountain and help you orientate yourself to this beautiful City, looking down on Cape Town and the surrounding areas.  We take in the majestic views, whilst getting away from the crowds for a more intimate tour.

After taking the cable car back down the mountain, we head to the V&A Waterfront for an early lunch before you take the 1pm ferry to the notorious Robben Island, which has served as an infamous prison for over 300 years, most recently incarcerating political prisoners during Apartheid.  After arriving on the Island, you have a walking tour of the prison and your guide is an ex-Apartheid-era political prisoner so very interesting.  You then have a 45-minute bus ride around the Island to learn more about life on the Island and what happens there today, before returning to the Waterfront where we are waiting to drop you back at your hotel.

Rates R2,950 per person including hotel pick-up, Table Mountain cableway tickets and Robben Island experience.
