A trip to the tip of Africa is a must for lots of our guests. On this day tour we travel to Cape Agulhas, the most southerly point on the African continent where the Indian & Atlantic Oceans officially meet, you can even stand with one foot in each ocean!

We depart Cape Town earlier than usual at 7.30am and commence our 3-hour journey along the Overberg region to Cape Agulhas, which is a beautiful drive from a scenic point of view, through the golden wheat and canola fields and past the citrus fruit farms.
We stop to take in the amazing views back towards Cape Town from the top of Sir Lowry’s Pass and have some refreshments at a farm stall before arriving at Cape Agulhas mid-morning.
We explore the historic Cape Agulhas Lighthouse, climbing the stairs to the top to experience the breathtaking views before moving on to the famous monument, marking the official meeting point of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans and taking a paddle in the water!
We then have lunch before starting our return journey to Cape Town, stopping in Hermanus if time permits before arriving back at your hotel.
